Great drinks start with great beans.
Like any cooked food, coffee begins losing its freshness immediately after roasting. Three to four weeks (tops!) is all it takes before coffee goes stale and loses flavor.
At Mildfire Coffee, we roast in small batches (ten pounds or less), bag the beans immediately in sealed bags and sell our coffees within ten days, so you know the coffee is fresh. We even write the roast date right on the bag.
